Preston Chess Congress
Introduction
The Preston Chess Congress has taken place on the last weeked in November
for the past 20 years.
The congress venue, the Lancashire county council offices,
is ideal for chess playing, with comfortable chairs, tables with plenty of
space to put your score sheet, and board. Each section takes place in a
diffrent room, which means less noise so you can concentrate on the chess.
We thank Lancashire County Council for there continued support in allowing is
this excellent venue.
Another feature of Preston congress is superb refreshments. A large selection
of Drinks, home made sandwhiches, cakes and snacks.
Preston Chess Congress 2007 will take place from Friday 21st November, to
